Habitat for Humanity of Addison County partners with families, volunteers, and donors in our community to design and build award-winning and highly efficient and sustainable homes.

Currently Accepting Applications

We are currently accepting applications for our homes in the Gorham Lane neighborhood of Middlebury and homes in the Booth Woods neighborhood in Vergennes!

Supporting Our Neighbors

Eligible families are those currently living in unsuitable housing with little possibility of obtaining a home through conventional means. Working together, we design and build the homes and sell them at cost with no profit—and well below appraisal and with no-interest loans. Many of our families find that their mortgage is far less than what they were paying in rent.

Working Together

Our organization is 100% volunteer so 100% of all donations go to building homes in our community. We keep construction costs low by relying on volunteer labor and working with generous local professionals. All of our families work alongside Habitat as well—contributing their time and energy to become invested homeowners in Addison County.
